Hybrid between Cedrus atlantica and deodara. Recognised and described in International Dendrology Society Yearbook 2020. Occurred many times in Northern Italy in Tesi Family Nurseries. Wider spreading, broad pyramidal outline, gradually nodding at tips, longer needles +3cm.

Timber is tough, straight grained splits well, develops heartwood early & saws well. Durable for above ground exterior uses and flooring. Does not shed bark. Recommend planting in early Spring after chance of frosts.
